New! Microsoft Expression Web

Thursday, March 29th, 2007

Microsoft’s new Web site design and development tool, Expression Web, is more grown up than it’s predecessor FrontPage. It places CSS and XML at the core of its design strategy, and makes them as approachable as possible. So, while non-coders may have to go through more training than with FrontPage, the resulting sites will meet all current Web design standards. The program is more user friendly than others in its field, shielding much of the code from the user and offering templates and IntelliSense functions. Expression Web is Microsoft’s first release in the Expression line for creative professionals, which they hope will give rival Adobe some competition.
