Microsoft has widely released Internet Explorer 7, yet Quickbooks 2004 and 2005’s Internet features are not compatible. If you’re using one of these prior Quickbooks versions, you won’t be able to use browser-based features like Help, Navigator and Payroll. Intuit plans to release a patch in December for Quickbooks 2005, though they say 2004 will not be compatible with IE7. In the meantime, they suggest declining the IE7 update or rolling back to IE6. Another option would be to upgrade to QuickBooks 2007, which is fully compatible with IE7. Quickbooks is not the first program to have issues with the new IE release.
