Microsoft Does Have Sense of Humor

A prank screen saver that mimics the blue screen caused by a software error that freezes Windows is now available on Microsoft’s website. BlueScreen v3.2 cycles different “blue screens of death” and rotates through startup screens typically seen during a system boot. Its accuracy has even fooled IT departments and NT developers. But security software manufacturers are not amused. McAfee, for example, is preventing its users from downloading the software because it is meant to scare people. Whether it amuses you or not, Microsoft has decided to keep the prank on their site as a download.
