Strengths: Makes recording my monitor for YouTube videos super easy.
Very user-friendly controls!
Weaknesses: System for adding images/transitions could be better, but still pretty good.

Comments: Camtasia Studio 7 is probably the most useful and easy to use capture program I have ever seen. Hands down the best screen capture software on the market. I use it for all of my tutorials!
"Pleased with ease-of-use & results"
Strengths: The controls seem intuitive. Does everything I need it to do.
Weaknesses: Have not as yet found any.
Comments: I use Camtasia to produce enrichment videos for my students. The videos are basically screen captures with voice-overs. I've played with a few different methods for putting the virtual lectures together (Word, using a "whiteboard" and a tablet pen, PowerPoint), and Camtasia has worked very nicely for the production and editing. Processing for upload to YouTube couldn't have been easier.
Some of my students reported not being able to watch the files from within my Moodle course, so I've also produced them in a couple different formats - both as SCORM wrappers and plain MP4's. I've also advised my students to try a different browser if they have difficulty, and that seems to have helped - not that that is a Camtasia issue - but it has been nice to be able to make those tweaks easily.

Strengths: Camtasia Studio is very powerful and at the same time so easy to use. The tutorials are very detailed and we were up and running in minutes.
Weaknesses: Couldn't find any so far.
