"Efficient Accounting Program"
Strengths: All inclusive software for small business.
Weaknesses: Lacks payroll module - now a seperate piece of software.
Comments: Soup to nuts, almost everything you would want for an accounting system.

Strengths: Easy to use accounting software. Been using it for years. Of the choices for small business my favorite.
Weaknesses: None

Strengths: Easy to grasp, makes tracking expenses and income very clear
Weaknesses: Entering splits on checks a problem-When using the Enter key the cursor jumps back to the first split
Comments: I have used Quick Books in the Dental office where I have worked for 14 years and have put our small family business on Quick Books last month. I lvoe it

Strengths: Very thorough. Lots of information available online.
Weaknesses: Being so intricate makes it confusing at first. Takes time to learn to run the program correctly.
"Some improvements in ease-of-use"
Strengths: - Trouble-free upgrade of my QB2005 files.
- Doing a "Quick-add" for new vendors is now only one click.
- Check register seems to have improved its "memory" for filling in repetitive items
Weaknesses: Assigning "class" to items that I enter in the check register is still not intuitive and requires opening other windows
Comments: I only use QB check register which I use to generate my annual P&L report by class for my accountant. As such, QB Pro has everything in one place which lets me do my paperwork for the year in less than one day. I am not using QB's on-line features and links to my bank accounts because I am concerned about security breaches.
