Description
Microsoft MapPoint Fleet 2010 Edition offers the same software as the standard version of MapPoint, but has licensing to allow for tracking multiple vehicles in a fleet. Each dispatcher is required to have a license; vehicles do not typically require a license.

New features include map settings to choose what details display on your maps, plus expanded and improved pushpins.
  • Tap into existing data sources. Create maps from data stored in current versions of Office Excel, Office Access, Microsoft SQL Server, or other database sources.
  • Extend your business. Take advantage of the extensible MapPoint object model to build custom business solutions such as fleet tracking and business intelligence.
  • Re-route quickly with drag-and-drop functionality.
  • Create routes and optimize stops, or plan your trip on your PC and then print, or send your route to your GPS device (not included).

Licensing
A minimum of 5 licenses is required. This license does not come with Microsoft's Maintenance Program, Software Assurance (SA).
