ARCServe Backup 12.5 Agent for Microsoft SharePoint provides you with the ability to backup and restore Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services data. All SharePoint data can be backed up using the same method, reducing administrative overhead. The agent protects all databases, such as SharePoint Portal databases, document libraries, and Single Sign-On Windows SharePoint Services databases. Using the agent, you can specify SharePoint data for backup and restore operations from a single node in the user interface, regardless of which machine in the SharePoint Server Farm the SharePoint data resides on. The agent can be automatically deployed on all servers in the SharePoint Server Farm, which significantly simplifies the deployment process.
