Why is there no product key for my new Small Business Server 2008 CALs that I purchased? How to I get these installed?
Kevin Answered: For Small Business Server 2008, Microsoft eliminated the product key that was found on SBS 2003 CALs. To add the additional CALs you purchased, simply log into your server and increase the active CAL count by the number of new CALs. Then, simply keep your proof of license certificate (or Open License agreement) on file. This proof of license is all you need to show to Microsoft to prove that you are licensed for the correct number of users in SBS 2008.
