Licensing: A Client Access License (CAL) is required for each user/device to access PerformancePoint Server. User CALs are likely to be more cost effective than Device CALs if there are multiple devices per user (for example, a user has a laptop and handheld computer accessing the server). A minimum of 5 licenses is required. A server license is also required. This license comes with Microsoft's Maintenance Plan, Software Assurance
