C++Builder is the only RAD C++ IDE for Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. C++Builder 2007 R2 not only runs on all three platforms, but also lets you develop for any of the three. For example you could be running Windows 2000 while developing an application for Vista.

With VCL for the Web you can quickly and visually build interactive and responsive dynamic data-driven corporate web applications that support AJAX techniques. ANSI C++ conformance has been increased with the new version, including new Dinkumware library support. The new DBX4 database architecture streamlines database connectivity and simplifies writing of data drivers.

C++Builder 2007 Enterprise Edition Release 2 is for enterprise development organizations that need AJAX support for more complex web applications and support for enterprise database connectivity. Enterprise includes all the features of Professional plus support for Enterprise SQL Databases (Oracle 10g, MS SQL Server 2000/2005, Informix 9x, IBM DB2 8.x, Sybase 12.5) and interactive web applications with AJAX support.
