IMPORTANT NOTE:  A minimum of 5 CALs is required as well as a server license Client Access Licenses (CALs) are required for each device or user that accesses the features and services of Microsoft SQL. Device CALs are likely to be more cost-effective than User CALs if there are multiple users per device (for example, a call center or an airport kiosk). SQL Server 2005 is Microsoft's next-generation data management and analysis solution which delivers increased security, scalability, and availability to enterprise data and analytical applications, while making them easier to build, deploy, and manage. Microsoft Open License Business is a software volume licensing program designed for customers who order as few as five licenses.
