Strengths: I tried Vista when it came out and hated it. Windows 7 is more comparable to XP - in terms that it is self-explanatory and easy to use yet still has really cool features. I love the 'snipping tool' - instead of having to do a 'print screen' and open it up in an editing program to crop, then copy and paste - you can just simply drag the rectangle and hit 'copy' - it's so easy and convenient! The other new feature that i love is that windows snapping feature where you drag the window to the top corner and it will automatically resize it to half the screen so you can have two windows on one screen (cheaper way than having multiple monitors)

Weaknesses: None

Strengths: So easy to use

Weaknesses: have not come across one yet

Comments: the best operating system yet

Strengths: Install was simple. No hitches or problems with updates either. Am running as a virtual machine in a new Mac Pro using VMWare Fusion v3.1 and seems quite stable. Like the new print dialog on the side of the document. Interface seems a bit more simple than XP.

Weaknesses: Seems like 64 bit programs (like I.E.) should be the default and not have 2 different versions showing up on the app list. Seems fluid but just a little sluggish (could be the fact it's running virtual).

Comments: Purchased to run with VMWare Fusion

Strengths: Great short cuts, easy access to my entire computer, great wallpaper designs, and improved audio/video functions.

Weaknesses: Nothing that I can find so far

Comments: awesome improvement from the prior version.

Strengths: Easy to install and work with. Seems more secure than previous versions.

Weaknesses: I'm not aware of any so far.

Strengths: Ease of setup, everything works. Stable, fast, no problems.

Weaknesses: doesn't remember window size too well..... need 3rd party software to manage

Comments: I was skeptical about upgrading, but now, I would not go back to XP (even though it was good), for anything. I didn't use Vista, but I heard too many bad things about it.

Strengths: Faster and not as intrusive Few driver issues

Weaknesses: Could be less resource intensive

Comments: big improvement in terms of utility and overall looks

Strengths: best OS - was ready to go Apple and give up on MS

Weaknesses: good for just 1 computer use

Strengths: Windows 7 upgrade from Vistawas simple and required no file saving. It allowed me to use software I had difficulty using with Vista. I have found none of the "glitches" experienced with Vista. A great switch, worth the money!

Weaknesses: So far the only weakness is that I have to get used to the new format. But even the difficulty in that regard has been minimal.

Comments: The price was very good. The delivery came earlier than promised. The product is great. What more could you want!

Strengths: One of the quickest startups I have ever used, nice gadgets to add to your desktops and themes to personalize your computer. Great for entertainment and everyday use.

Weaknesses: Don’t see any weakness to this wonderful operating system.

Comments: I prefer this operating system over Windows XP with I had before with my Toshiba computer, now I have a Acer and the Windows 7 operating system is good for school and entertainment.

Strengths: Fast, user friendly, MUCH better than Vista

Weaknesses: I have found no weakness to this operating system. I love it!

Comments: Easy enough to use that my husband can use it!

Strengths: Got the product quickly. Have not installed from the 3-user version yet, but I expect to have no problems as I already installed a single user version of Windows 7.

Weaknesses: Wish I had created a restore point before starting the install.

Comments: Be sure to have your files backed up and and create a restore point before starting the install.

Strengths: I placed my order on a Friday (or maybe Sat.) and I think I had it by the next Tuesday or Wed. They even called me to ask me about the order. Apparently I ordered a version that only allows for one installation. I did not want that so we got that fixed before the order shipped. I am very glad they called.

Weaknesses: No complaints here.
