  • “Win 7 works!”

    Robert Delgarbno

    Apr 17, 2012

Works out of the box. 32 & 64bit program compatability.

a little to much overhead/ CPU drag

  • “Product works great!”

    Mar 22, 2012

I've purchased many of these, and have never had a problem.

    None, that I've noticed.

    Excellent product
  • “Good Deal, Fast Service, Very Happy”

    Dec 07, 2011

    New, Clean unopened unbranded Software.

    None that I found

Everything was delivered Quickly and was What I expected for a very good Price. Installed with no problems. I will be telling Friends and Family about this online Store.
  • “Best OS till now”

    Aug 02, 2011

Windows 7 64bit is the most stable operating system launched by Microsoft so far. Its security features are stronger than its predecessors (the inbuilt firewall and windows defender is enough and I don’t need any third party firewall!). It supports programs of almost all third party software vendors and the user interface of windows 7 is very easy to use.

: Requires a lot of system resources (RAM, graphics memory). But this might not be a weakness because computers in the market have become fast and powerful.

Best operating system other than MAC OS.
  • “Great place to buy from, Fast Ship!”

    Mar 21, 2011

Different from XP Pro, a bit nicer to look at. Still has the functionality to run programs for XP.

Takes a bit of time to get used to, figure out where everything is at. I guess that has a lot to do with me using XP Pro for the last 10 years!

  • “Made the jump over Vista to Windows”

    Dave Morse

    Feb 10, 2011

64 bit OS, allows me to take advantage of my 64 bit CAD applications.
Running this OS in Parallels for Macbook Pro.
    Works great!

Whenever I am in the market to buy software, I shop at Finding what you are looking for is a breeze, and they have excellent customer service.
  • “Solid, Robust”

    Los Angeles

    Dec 29, 2010

One of the most Solid OS, from MS to date.
All that XP wished it could be, with none of the Vista issues.

Installation is a bit confusing when attempting to add OS only partitions.

  • “Well Played”

    Dec 20, 2010

    Better Security, quicker startup

    Lack of easy upgrade

Well done operating system, sppedy and secure
  • “Great OS”

    Oct 17, 2010

Ease of setup, everything works. Stable, fast, no problems.

doesn't remember window size too well..... need 3rd party software to manage

I was skeptical about upgrading, but now, I would not go back to XP (even though it was good), for anything. I didn't use Vista, but I heard too many bad things about it.
  • “recommended upgrade”

    Sep 14, 2010

fast, stable, good for networks (more intuitive than win XP); easy installation

some of the tool bar functions in Win XP do not work in Win 7 (like Copernic Search Bar). Some software will not work with 64 bit (like trend micro RUBotted)

So far I like this a lot better than windows XP, but there is a small learning curve. There are helpful microsoft forums that one can search on Google to automate simple tasks (e.g., "how do I make a volume control shortcut on my desk?). Seems more stable - much more stable than XP.
  • “Great product - life saver”

    Thomas Lee

    Sep 11, 2010

Extended the life of my Dell XPS (64 bit). It was at the end of life with XP and getting to the point of needing a hardware swap due to performance degredation. Win 7 64 bit makes the PC run like new- and fast. It has extended the life of the hardware by years.

    none to speak of

Drivers are not an issue with this OS as was with Vista (discarded that piece of junk quickly). Runs solid and (whew!) does not crash with "blue screens of death"
  • “Newest windows desktop OS”

    Eugene Schilhab

    Aug 01, 2010

Install was simple. No hitches or problems with updates either. Am running as a virtual machine in a new Mac Pro using VMWare Fusion v3.1 and seems quite stable. Like the new print dialog on the side of the document. Interface seems a bit more simple than XP.

Seems like 64 bit programs (like I.E.) should be the default and not have 2 different versions showing up on the app list. Seems fluid but just a little sluggish (could be the fact it's running virtual).

Purchased to run with VMWare Fusion
  • “Great product”

Really sures up a ton of issues with Vista. It has more user interaction and ease of use.

    No so far
