“Works great! No problems!”Strengths:
Seems more intuitive than older versions.
Wish the color options for "fill" were the same as the old version, but you can manually produce any color you wish, as always
I like this. It's keeping current with the updates, and that's very important!
“much improved version”Strengths:
It has been noticeably improved from the prior version that crashes all the time.

“Great Product. Fast Delivery”Strengths:
I love the new features. It works wonders. I can't wait to try out everything else.
I rather prefer the 2008 format.
“Great value for MS Office!”Strengths:
Fully compatibility file format that can be opened on a MAC or PC. With multiple students at home/college, you can install software on up to three computers.
Does not allow simple use of fill in excel with same colors as previous version (although you can create custom colors).
This is a great value for industry standard software at home or school. Cant go wrong!
Opens and edits file well
Mac Office 11 met expectations well--including opening and editing files created
on a Windows PC without issue. I have no complaints.
“I'm pleasantly surprised”Strengths:
Overall speed. Improved reliability in Outlook
The User Interface is still a bit rough around the edges.
I am having a good experience with Microsoft Office Home and Busineess 2011. I read some negative things before I bought it but I've been pleasantly surprised using it.
Performance is good, significantly better than Office 2008 or 2004.
Some tools have been moved, but the Ribbon is nothing to be afraid of. It's just tabbed toolbars. It's a lot easier to change toolbars using the tabs right above them than to go up in the View menu to make changes, which was how it used to be.
What I use mostly is Outlook. Before Outlook I used Entourage 2008, 2004, Outlook Express, and even Claris Emailer.
I had to do a fair amount of customization to Outlook before I got it looking and behaving the way I like. The customization options are there - you do have to do some digging around to find them all.
Performance of Outlook seems very good. The external file structure seems to work better than the monolithic database.
The naming conventions for mail files and folders don't make a lot of sense to humans, but if you have ever opened up a .rge export file from Entourage they use similar names. Because of this I'm not buying the, "We started from a clean sheet of paper" line about Outlook. There are a few other small things I don't like, but I expect that Microsoft will keep improving Outlook with software updates the same way they did with Entourage.
