"Easy, affordable project management"
Strengths: We found that it was user friendly in the sense that even those without project management experience could schedule and manage multiple projects at once using the tools in Primavera. Our team has become more motivated as everyone is more up to date on schedule changes, deadlines, etc. This was especially beneficial for those working in different locations.
The improved PERT interface is helpful when establishing overall logic.
Also easily transfers to and from Excel.
Weaknesses: Obviously if one has not studied or used Oracle Primavera to some degree, there is a learning curve. The software also has some issues in Windows 7, such as the help does not work. But the basic functions of scheduling and printing are still intact.
This software is designed to run on a local workstation and allows only single user at a time to access a project.
