Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway 25 Processor Licenses with Software Assurance through Open Government Licensing

Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010 (TMG) enables businesses by allowing employees to safely and productively use the Internet for business without worrying about malware and other threats. It provides multiple layers of continuously updated protections that are integrated into a unified, easy to manage gateway, reducing the cost and complexity of Web security. This Enterprise Edition supports an unlimited number of CPU's and supports remote management of firewall policies and configuration settings.

The Forefront TMG solution includes two separately licensed components:

• Forefront TMG server that provides URL filtering, antimalware inspection, intrusion prevention, application- and network-layer firewall and HTTP/HTTPS inspection in a single solution
• Forefront TMG Web Protection Service that provides the continuous updates for malware filtering and access to cloud-based URL filtering technologies aggregated from multiple Web security vendors to protect against the latest Web-based threats. 

Forefront TMG is the next version of the ISA Server, and builds on top of existing ISA Server functionality to deliver new protection capabilities, including Web antimalware, as well as enhancements to the UI, management, and reporting. Forefront TMG will be able to support organizations of various sizes, from small businesses to large enterprises.
