SQL Technology: Essentials 2010 requires Microsoft SQL Server to support its operational activities. This license comes with SQL Technology but may ONLY be used to support Essentials 2010. If you need the full, unrestricted version of SQL Server, you must purchase that separately.
Licensing: The Microsoft System Center Essentials licensing model requires a management server software (the application used to manage clients and servers) license and a management license (ML) is required for each physical server or client device on which you want to manage operating system environments.
