Licensing
This User CAL must be purchased in conjunction with SQL Server 2008 Workgroup - Server License and 5 CALS. Client Access Licenses (CALs) are required for each device or user that accesses the features and services of Microsoft SQL. User CALs are likely to be more cost effective than Device CALs if there are multiple devices per user (for example, a user has a laptop and handheld computer accessing SQL Server). This product does not come with Microsoft's maintenance program, Software Assurance.
