Notes & Additional Requirements:

• Operations Manager 2007 requires a Server License for each management server

• An Operations Management License (OML) is required for each managed device. A device can be a single server, single personal computer, workstation, terminal, handheld computer, pager, telephone, personal digital assistant, or other electronic device. Must purchase a minimum of 5 OMLs.


• The OML is offered in Enterprise and Standard Editions for management of servers, and in a Client Edition for management of clients and other devices not running server operating systems. An Enterprise OML is required for full application and server management and a Standard OML can be used for operating system and basic workload management.


• Operations Manager Server 2007 with SQL Server Technology includes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition. The SQL Server Technology may NOT be used as a standalone SQL Server deployment or with any other application besides Operations Manager 2007.
