CA ARCserve Backup r16 for Windows Storage Area Network Option The Storage Area Network Option lets you fully exploit Fiber Channel Technology to offload backup and restore operations from corporate LANs. This capability provides you with unlimited scalability of the storage network and eliminates additional storage data traffic on your LAN. In addition, the option lets you share storage devices between multiple CA ARCserve Backup servers, and provides advanced device and media management tools.

Includes 1 year of maintenance. To use this option, a CA ARCserve Backup for Windows base product must be running in the overall backup environment to manage backup processes. Therefore, you must have CA ARCserve Backup for Windows or any of CA ARCserve Backup r16 Solutions already in your environment.
