CA ARCserve Backup r16 for Windows Disaster Recovery Option CA lets you perform fast, simple, and reliable bare metal recovery of failed servers. This capability lets you get your applications up and running quickly. The option ensures rapid, bare metal recovery of the failed server, and you will not need to reinstall the operating system or CA ARCserve Backup. The option lets you perform restore operations from data that is stored on a SAN and over the network. You can create boot diskettes, CD recovery images, and OBDR (one-button disaster recovery) tape drives, to further simplify the recovery process.

Includes 3-years of maintenance. To use this option, a CA ARCserve Backup for Windows base product must be running in the overall backup environment to manage backup processes. Therefore, you must have CA ARCserve Backup for Windows or any of CA ARCserve Backup r16 Solutions already in your environment.
